And a good time was had by all...

This weekend I ate a delicious breakfast with my friend Kristen on Sunday at Crema. She's a longtime good friend/former Peace-Corps volunteer with a three year stint in Africa/amazingly awesome person. I seriously just love her like crazy... she's amazing, open, intelligent, insightful, and most importantly hilarious. After a rambling good time at b-fast, I headed down to the Valley of the Sun to see my lovely amiga Robyn and her heart ninja Clayton. We get on these kicks where we like to find random activities to do, so this time around we went junking in the Melrose District and then to the Chihuly Exhibit at Phoenix Botanical Garden.

The glass sculptures were amazing.... not to mention the garden was full of wildflowers and plants just thriving everywhere. It was truly a magical day. I got to catch up with my two friends and we got to talk wedding stuff (they will be getting married in November, and I was asked to be MOH, woop woop!). I also got to share my recent escapades and ask for advice on how to talk to guys (I literally have no idea how to flirt or be 'cute', it's been half a decade since I've had to think about this stuff!).

We then went to a pub in downtown which, not going to lie, looks very sketchy on the outside. And actually inside too. But sweet hey-sus they had some amazing English-style food and beers on tap. My close amigo Jarrod met us there and it was a good time just laughing and catching up. Then in the parking lot Jarrod let me pick his guitar and we sang 'Rose in Paradise' by Waylon Jennings. Then I drove home way too late listening to Emmylou Harris way too loud.

Feeling so blessed for the amazing compadres in my life.
